Baltimore is home.
It’s a city of firsts — the first snowball stand, the first railroad, the first duckpin bowling alley. So many firsts.
In fact, the first people to sing the Star Spangled Banner were Baltimore locals.
And yet, the first impression among outsiders is The Wire.
When the nice folks from Spark sought me out to help write these tourism spots,
I jumped on the opp to tell Balto’s story—changing the narrative from misperception to must-visit destination.
I’m proud I got to rep my city—and contribute to the iconic, “you won’t get it ’til you get here” campaign.
